Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, professionally known as DJ Tunez, is a Nigerian-American disc jockey and record producer born on May 10, 1989, in the United States. Raised in South Brooklyn, he began DJing at church events during his youth, which led to paid gigs for birthdays and weddings. In 2015, he signed with Wizkid’s label Starboy Entertainment. DJ Tunez gained prominence with the 2016 Afrobeat hit “Iskaba” (featuring Wande Coal) and has since released popular tracks including “Gbese,” “Turn Up,” “Pami,” and more, collaborating with artists such as Wizkid, Reekado Banks, Omah Lay, and others.
