OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney accepts six-year sentence in Christian Obumseli killing

Courtney Clenney, a Miami-based OnlyFans model, has pleaded guilty in connection with the 2022 killing of her Nigerian boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
Clenney, who was charged with second-degree murder over Obumseli’s death, appeared in court on Monday and accepted a six-year prison sentence with credit for time already served. She will also serve five years of probation and undergo a mental health evaluation and therapy.
Obumseli, 27, was fatally stabbed at the couple’s Edgewater condominium in Miami in April 2022.
During the court proceedings, Obumseli’s mother spoke about the impact of her son’s death and the loss experienced by his family.
“Nothing can describe what it feels like for a mother to stand at the grave of her child,” she said.
She added that the family would continue to feel the effects of his death through milestones and occasions they would no longer share with him.
Clenney’s case has attracted significant attention since Obumseli’s death, with the circumstances surrounding the killing becoming the subject of criminal proceedings and public discussion.
