Fulham Raise Bid for Nigerian Defender Chibuike Nwaiwu

Premier League club Fulham have increased their offer for Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu after Turkish side Trabzonspor rejected an initial bid, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik.
The report states that Fulham’s opening €15 million offer was turned down, prompting the London club to submit an improved bid worth €20 million.
Trabzonspor are reportedly willing to sell the 22-year-old centre-back but are seeking a transfer fee of between €30 million and €35 million.
Nwaiwu has also attracted interest from fellow Premier League side West Ham United, who are monitoring his situation.
The defender joined Trabzonspor from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC in January and has since become a key figure in the team’s defence, with his performances drawing attention from clubs in England.
