Primate Elijah Ayodele Warns Nigerians Against Cursing President Tinubu

Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned Nigerians against attacking or cursing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, warning that such actions could negatively affect the nation.
In a recent video shared on Facebook, Ayodele urged citizens to offer prayers for the president’s success, stating that Nigeria’s progress is tied to the stability of his administration.
“The more you are fighting Tinubu, you are fighting Nigeria. When you are cursing Tinubu, you are cursing Nigeria—not Tinubu per se. That is the revelation of the Lord,” Ayodele said during a prophetic session.
He added that spiritual support from citizens and religious leaders was essential for the president’s effectiveness, noting, “If he’s not succeeding, the country cannot succeed. People should be praying for him.”
Ayodele emphasized that while Nigerians have the right to hold leaders accountable, they should avoid hatred or bitterness, urging unity and intercession for national progres.
