Primate Elijah Ayodele Predicts Success for New Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu

Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has shared a prophecy concerning the newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu, stating that he will perform exceptionally in his new role.

In a video posted on Facebook on Friday, October 31, 2025, Ayodele said God revealed that Major General Shaibu would take firm action against insecurity and maintain discipline within the Nigerian Army.

“God told me that this Chief of Army Staff is going to perform well and that he will not take any nonsense from anyone, especially from terrorists and those who want to destabilize the nation,” Ayodele said.

The cleric added that Shaibu’s leadership would strengthen the army through bold operations and reforms aimed at improving the fight against terrorism and banditry.

However, Ayodele advised the Army Chief to remain prayerful and cautious of individuals who might seek to undermine his efforts. “He must be careful of those around him; not everyone who praises him truly supports him,” he warned.

Primate Ayodele concluded by urging Nigerians to pray for Major General Shaibu, emphasizing that divine guidance and national unity would be vital to his success in tackling the country’s security challenges.
