Odumodublvck Credits Davido and Wizkid for Boosting His Fame

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has revealed how Davido and Wizkid played key roles in his rise to fame. Speaking on the Afrobeats Podcast, he shared that Wizkid was the first major artist to promote his music by posting Picanto and later vibing to Declan Rice, which helped him gain massive recognition.

He also praised Davido for supporting him despite having no obligation, saying, “David helped me when he didn’t need to, so there’s no way I’d speak badly about him.”

Odumodublvck dismissed rumors that he was upset about not being featured on Wizkid’s album Morayo, calling it unreasonable to feel entitled to another artist’s project.

With his 2023 hit album EZIOKWU, Odumodublvck solidified his place in Nigerian hip hop and is set to drop a new album, Industry Machine, in 2025.
