Akorede Babatunde Okunola, professionally known as Saheed Osupa, is a Nigerian Fuji musician, songwriter, and actor born on August 7, 1969, in Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is a native of Ibadan, Oyo State, and is widely regarded as one of the most intelligent and philosophically driven Fuji artists of his generation.
Saheed Osupa began his musical journey at a young age, drawing inspiration from Fuji pioneers such as Ayinde Barrister. His deep lyrical style, rich Yoruba proverbs, and socially conscious themes quickly distinguished him within the Fuji genre.
