Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad
Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as Mohbad, was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on June 8, 1996, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He rose to prominence with his street-hop anthems and signature blend of Afrobeats, Fuji, and rap.
Mohbad signed to Marlian Music in 2019, where he released hits like KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie, Feel Good, and Backside. His breakout single KPK became a street anthem and earned him mainstream recognition.
In 2022, he parted ways with Marlian Music amidst publicized disputes and launched his independent journey. His death in September 2023 triggered massive nationwide tributes and protests, cementing his legacy as a beloved voice of Nigeria’s street-pop movement.
