Prime Boy Accuses Mohbad’s Father of Misusing Donations and Neglecting Son’s Burial

Nigerian artist Prime Boy, a former close friend of the late singer Mohbad, has made serious claims against Mohbad’s father, Mr. Aloba, accusing him of profiting from his son’s death instead of pursuing justice or arranging a proper burial.

During a recent TikTok live session, Prime Boy criticized Mr. Aloba for focusing on media appearances and visiting movie sets while Mohbad’s body remains in the morgue.

“You didn’t buy a good coffin for Mohbad. He is still lying cold in the morgue. The Dad is busy going to different movie locations enjoying himself. If you already know what killed your son, tell us so we can stop stressing ourselves. This is wickedness,” he said.

He also alleged that Mr. Aloba launched several GoFundMe campaigns, raising questions about the funds raised—claiming the donations had surpassed one million dollars—with no clear accountability for how the money has been used.
