Llona
Michael Ajuma Attah, professionally known as Llona, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performing artist born on December 14, 1996, in Kogi State, Nigeria. Although he hails from Kogi State, he was raised in Kano State, where his upbringing and exposure to Northern Nigerian culture greatly influenced his musical identity and storytelling.
Llona began building a reputation as an independent artist through his emotionally driven blend of Afro-fusion and Afropop, with songs centered on resilience, relationships, personal struggles, and self-reflection. His heartfelt songwriting and distinctive vocal delivery quickly earned him recognition among Nigeria’s emerging generation of artists.
He gained widespread attention in 2024 with the release of Cold War featuring Fave, before unveiling his debut studio album, Homeless, on July 25, 2024. The project received positive critical reception and featured standout records including Another Day, Cold War, and HBP (Remix) featuring Bella Shmurda. Homeless peaked at No. 11 on the TurnTable Official Top 100 Albums Chart, establishing Llona as one of Nigeria’s most promising new voices.
