Panshak Henry Zamani, professionally known as Ice Prince (also known as Ice Prince Zamani), is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on October 30, 1986, in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria, and is originally from Plateau State.
Ice Prince rose to mainstream prominence in 2010 with the release of Oleku, one of Nigeria’s most successful hip-hop singles, which became a nationwide hit and received numerous remixes. Following its success, he released his debut studio album, Everybody Loves Ice Prince (2011), featuring hit songs such as Oleku, Superstar, and Juju. He later followed up with acclaimed projects including Fire of Zamani (2013), Trash Can, Jos to the World, and C.O.L.D.
A former member of Chocolate City, Ice Prince also served as the label’s Vice President between 2015 and 2016. Known for his smooth lyricism and ability to blend hip-hop with Afrobeats, he remains one of the most influential rappers of his generation and has collaborated with numerous African and international artists.
