Daniel Benson aka BNXN
Daniel Benson, professionally known as BNXN (pronounced “Benson” and formerly known as Buju), is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on May 14, 1997, in Lagos State. He studied at Babcock University and began making music in 2018.
BNXN gained attention with his soulful, genre-blending sound, breaking out with songs like Spiritual and Lenu. His remix of Lenu featuring Burna Boy catapulted him into the mainstream.
He became a household name with collaborations like Feeling with Ladipoe, Outside, Finesse with Pheelz, and Gwagwalada with Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez. His EP Bad Since ’97 highlighted his lyrical depth and Afro-fusion style.
BNXN is known for his smooth voice, introspective lyrics, and genre versatility, making him a standout in the Afrobeats and alternative music scene.
