Bayanni
Oladokun Abimbola Elijah, known professionally as Bayanni, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and recording artist. He was born on June 25, 1997, in Nigeria.
Bayanni rose to prominence after signing with Mavin Records, one of Nigeria’s leading record labels founded by Don Jazzy. Prior to his breakthrough, he gained attention through social media covers and freestyle performances that showcased his vocal ability and songwriting talent.
In 2022, Bayanni officially debuted under Mavin Records with his self-titled EP, Bayanni, which featured tracks such as Body, Family, and Ta Ta Ta. His distinctive blend of Afropop, Afrobeats, and contemporary African melodies quickly earned him recognition among music fans across Africa and beyond.
He achieved wider international success with Ta Ta Ta, which became one of his biggest hits. The song charted on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and later received a remix featuring American singer Jason Derulo, further expanding its global reach. The success of the record also earned Bayanni his first IFPI Denmark Gold Certification.
