Magixx
Alexander Adelabu, known professionally as Magixx, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and recording artist. He was born on September 27, 1999, in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Magixx developed an interest in music at an early age and spent several years honing his craft before gaining mainstream attention. In 2021, he signed a recording contract with Mavin Records, becoming one of the label’s notable additions under the leadership of Don Jazzy.
Following his signing, Magixx made his official debut with the self-titled EP Magixx, which featured tracks such as Love Don’t Cost A Dime, Gratitude, and Motivate Yourself. The project introduced listeners to his blend of Afropop, R&B, and Afro-fusion sounds, earning him recognition as one of Nigeria’s promising new talents.
In 2022, he released the expanded project Atom, which included the hit single Love Don’t Cost A Dime (Re-Up) featuring Ayra Starr. He later followed up with songs such as Shaye, Okay, and Maria, further establishing his reputation for melodic songwriting and smooth vocal delivery.
Known for his versatility and contemporary sound, Magixx has continued to build a strong presence within the Afrobeats scene, earning acclaim from fans and industry stakeholders alike.
