Ycee fires back at TG Omori over Poco Lee allegations

Nigerian rapper Oludemilade Martin Alejo, popularly known as Ycee, has criticised filmmaker TG Omori over his reaction to the allegations involving dancer Poco Lee.

TG Omori had expressed sadness following reports of Poco Lee’s arrest in the United Kingdom, describing him as someone he considered to be a good person.

“It breaks my heart to hear Poco Lee in this sort of mess. That’s the purest soul I have ever met. The devil really works overtime,” TG Omori wrote on X.

The comment attracted reactions from social media users, with some accusing the filmmaker of attributing the allegations to spiritual forces rather than addressing the alleged conduct.

Ycee responded to TG Omori, cautioning against blaming the devil for actions attributed to individuals.

“You cannot always blame the devil for the actions of men,” Ycee wrote.

Poco Lee is currently on remand in the UK over an alleged assault case and is expected to appear in court for a plea hearing in September.
