The investigation into Mohad’s death took a positive turn when Prime Boy turned himself in
The Nigerian police investigation into Mohbad’s death has made progress, with the wanted suspect Prime Boy surrendering to assist with the inquiry into his friend’s death.
On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, the Nigerian police force declared Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Prime Boy, wanted for failing to honour the invitation for questioning sent by the police. Prime Boy, however, turned himself in earlier today, Thursday, October 5, 2023, the police also confirmed this through the office of the PRO for the Lagos State command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who shared a statement that read, “Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions. The Lagos State Police Command once again assures family, friends, fans of Mohbad and the general public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring a most diligent investigation. The Command equally assures that all persons found culpable in the death of Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad will definitely be brought to justice.”
The Nigerian police force has been active in leaving no stone unturned regarding the investigation into the tragic passing of the fast-rising rapper Mohbad in September 2023, following the public outcry of friends, family and well-meaning Nigerians.
