Actor Charles Born Criticises Colleagues for Ignoring Each Other in Public

Nollywood actor Charles Ugochukwu Born has criticised what he described as a recurring attitude among celebrities who deliberately ignore their colleagues in public.
In a post shared via his verified Instagram story (@_charlesborn), the actor called the behaviour “exhausting,” noting that many public figures pretend not to recognise one another to see who would greet first.
“Please note, if we lock eyes and you look the other way, I cannot be the bigger person; I also will look the other way. When you’re ready, we go greet. Cuz wetin dey really do una?” he wrote.
Born described the act as unnecessary and urged mutual respect among entertainers. His comments have since drawn reactions from fans and industry peers, many of whom expressed agreement with his remarks about maintaining humility and professionalism in the entertainment industry.
