Augustine Miles Kelechi aka Tekno Miles
Augustine Miles Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno or Alhaji Tekno, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, producer, and dancer born on December 17, 1992, in Bauchi State, Nigeria. Though born in the north, he hails from Ivo Local Government Area in Ebonyi State and was raised in various parts of Nigeria due to his father’s military service.
Tekno gained prominence with his 2013 single Holiday featuring Davido, and broke into the mainstream with smash hits like Duro, Pana, and Diana. As a producer, he has worked with artists including Davido (on “If”), Ciara, and Drake. He is known for his distinctive sound that blends Afrobeat, highlife, and pop music.
Tekno is signed to his own imprint Cartel Music and formerly to Triple MG (Made Men Music Group).
