Ojo Daniel Olaborode, known professionally as Danny S, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and record executive. He was born on November 11, 1995, in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Danny S is recognized for his energetic fusion of Afrobeats, street-pop, dancehall, and hip-hop, combined with catchy lyrics and a vibrant performance style. He gained nationwide attention with the release of his breakout single Ege, which became a street anthem and established him as one of the notable voices in Nigeria’s street-hop movement.
Over the years, Danny S has expanded his catalog with popular releases such as Off The Light, Oh My God, and Waka Jeje featuring Olamide. His music has earned support across major entertainment platforms including TRACE, MTV Base, and various digital streaming services.
Known for his collaborative spirit, Danny S has worked with several Nigerian artists, including Olamide, Jaywon, Small Doctor, Reminisce, Portable, Qdot, Mr Real, and Otega. His performances have also taken him beyond Nigeria, with appearances in countries such as the United Kingdom, Egypt, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey.
