Ugbekile David Osemeke, known professionally as Boy Spyce, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was born on May 10, 2001, in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Boy Spyce gained widespread recognition in 2021 after posting a cover of Wizkid’s hit song Essence on social media. The performance quickly went viral, attracting the attention of music lovers and industry executives, including Don Jazzy.
In 2022, he signed a recording contract with Mavin Records, becoming one of the label’s new-generation talents. Shortly after signing, he released his self-titled debut EP, Boy Spyce, which featured songs such as Nobody, Bad Things, and Dreams. The project introduced audiences to his melodic style, smooth vocals, and blend of Afropop and R&B influences.
