Ahmed Ololade aka Asake
Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on January 13, 1995, in Lagos State, Nigeria. A graduate of Theatre & Performing Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, he blends Fuji, Amapiano, and Afrobeats to create his signature sound.
He broke into the spotlight in 2022 after signing with YBNL Nation and releasing a string of viral hits like Omo Ope, Sungba, and PBUY (Peace Be Unto You). His debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe became a record-breaking success and was followed by Work of Art in 2023.
Known for his fast-paced delivery, spiritual chants, and street-inspired lyrics, Asake has redefined the modern Afrobeats sound and sold out venues like the O2 Academy and O2 Arena.
He is widely praised for his unique voice, energetic performances, and cultural authenticity.
