Bukola Elemide, professionally known as Aแนฃa, is a Nigerian-French singer-songwriter born on 17 September 1982 in Paris, France. Raised in Lagos from the age of two, she later returned to Paris to study jazz music at IMFP, where her teachers encouraged her to become a recording artist. Aแนฃa debuted with her self-titled, platinum-selling album Aแนฃa (2007), followed by acclaimed works such as Beautiful Imperfection (2010), Bed of Stone (2014), Lucid (2019), and V (2022). Her musical style blends pop, soul, indie pop, Afrobeat, and reggae influences. Aแนฃa is known for her soulful voice, introspective songwriting, and guitar-driven performances.
