“They Can’t Ignore Me Now,” Osimhen Declares as Man United Offer €12m to Outbid Liverpool
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has become one of the most sought-after forwards in the ongoing summer transfer window, with Manchester United stepping up their pursuit in a bold move to land the prolific goal scorer.
According to The Punch, United are now showing stronger interest than ever, reportedly offering Osimhen a hefty €12 million annual salary in an attempt to beat out rival suitors, including Premier League giants Liverpool.
The 26-year-old forward, who reignited his career with a sensational season at Galatasaray—netting 37 goals and providing 8 assists—has quickly become a top target again after a turbulent stint at Napoli. His return to form has caught the attention of Europe’s elite clubs, and now Manchester United are making a serious push.
In a statement that reflects both confidence and ambition, Osimhen said: “They can’t ignore me now,” signaling his readiness to make a major leap in his career.
Reports suggest that United are putting together a total package worth around €75 million, bonuses included, to bring him to Old Trafford. Napoli, who have been open to parting ways with the forward, may consider accepting a slightly reduced offer if it helps move the deal forward.
While Saudi club Al Hilal previously made an attempt to lure Osimhen with a lucrative offer, sources close to the player say he still prefers to compete in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
With both Manchester United and Liverpool in the mix, and Osimhen’s market value soaring, the next few weeks could be decisive in determining where the Nigerian star continues his remarkable journey.
