Super Falcons Star Plumptre Impresses in Dominant 13-1 Victory

Al Ittihad delivered a crushing 13-1 victory over Jeddah SC in the Saudi Gold Cup, with Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre once again proving to be a key player in the match.

Just a week ago, Plumptre made her comeback after being sidelined by an injury that had kept her out of the Super Falcons’ Olympic squad. She made her return in the Saudi Women’s Premier League as an 87th-minute substitute against AIUla.

On Friday night, Plumptre earned a starting spot against Jeddah SC and made a significant impact, scoring Al Ittihad’s fifth goal in their dominant performance.
