PSG Face Injury Setback as Dembele Doubtful for Arsenal Clash

Paris Saint-Germain may have to face Arsenal without one of their key attackers, Ousmane Dembele, after the winger picked up a slight hamstring issue during the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final, according to the Daily Post.
Dembele was the match-winner on the night, scoring the decisive goal in PSG’s narrow 1-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium. But his second-half substitution raised eyebrows, especially as it followed an apparent knock. While he didn’t show any obvious discomfort leaving the field, head coach Luis Enrique later revealed that the player might be at risk of missing the return leg in Paris.
“I don’t know anything for sure at the moment. The medical tests will be done tomorrow. It’s not serious—just a minor issue—but there is some doubt about his availability for the return match,” Enrique told reporters after the game.
Despite the uncertainty, the PSG boss maintained confidence in his squad’s depth. Speaking to Canal+, Enrique reassured fans: “We are a real team. If Ousmane can play, that’s great. If not, we will rely on the rest of the squad.”
Dembele, who arrived from Barcelona, has been a crucial part of PSG’s Champions League campaign this season. His potential absence would be a significant loss, especially considering the attacking threat he brings. His goal in the first leg has given the French side a slight edge, but much depends on how his injury develops ahead of next week’s showdown at Parc des Princes.
As PSG prepare for the high-stakes rematch, all eyes will be on the medical update regarding Dembele, while Arsenal look to capitalize on any weakness and turn the tie in their favor.
