“AC Milan Coach Hails Super Eagles Star for Game-Changing Performance in Victory”

AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca has praised Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze for his crucial role in the team’s 3-1 UEFA Champions League win over Club Brugge, as reported by OwnGoalNigeria. Chukwueze, who was brought on in the 60th minute, made a significant impact, helping to break the 1-1 stalemate.
Despite delivering a standout performance against Udinese, Chukwueze started the match on the bench while Rafael Leao returned to the lineup. However, Fonseca’s decision to substitute in Chukwueze proved beneficial, as the Nigerian’s energy and enthusiasm reinvigorated the squad.Just one minute after Chukwueze entered the field, AC Milan took the lead for the first time.
He further contributed to the victory by assisting Reijnders in scoring his second goal, demonstrating his creative skills. Fonseca credited both Chukwueze and Noah Okafor for changing the course of the match.”I believe we improved with the introduction of Okafor and Chukwueze.
Their arrival shifted the dynamics of the game; they brought energy, which intensified the team’s performance,” Fonseca explained to SkySports. The coach dismissed any suggestions that Rafael Leao’s substitution was a form of punishment, stressing the importance of Okafor and Chukwueze’s involvement.
He also hinted at the possibility of starting Chukwueze alongside Christian Pulisic and Okafor in the upcoming match against Bologna in Serie A.
