Sara-Igbe: Wike is Exposing Himself, I Challenge Him to Respond

A respected Niger Delta leader has criticized former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike’s shifting allegiances and political narratives, particularly regarding his relationship with former Governor Peter Odili.
High Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe, in a revealing interview with Symfoni TV, highlighted what he sees as contradictions in Wike’s political relationships.
“For Wike now to turn around to say he supported Odili, ‘Odili has done this, Odili has done that,’ he has forgotten what he did, the discord he sowed between Amaechi and Odili,” Sara-Igbe stated. The Elder Statesman expressed dismay at Wike’s recent actions, adding, “And today, he is now turning around to accuse the same Odili. It’s unfortunate. It’s like a drowning man looking for what to hold onto.”
Sara-Igbe didn’t mince words in his assessment of Wike’s behavior, declaring, “So for me, he’s exposing himself more.” He then issued a direct challenge while simultaneously offering counsel: “I thank God. I want him to challenge me. I’ve said so much about him, but I will still advise him to make peace with mankind, he should not go too far.”
The statement suggests deep-rooted tensions within Rivers State’s political landscape while also offering a path toward reconciliation, albeit with a warning undertone.
