Rivers Crisis: I Don’t Know How Tinubu Gets His Information, but He Acted with Wisdom – Fubara
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has praised President Bola Tinubu for his timely and wise intervention in resolving the political crisis in the state. Speaking during a gathering with leaders of the Simplified Movement in Port Harcourt, Fubara acknowledged Tinubu’s role in preventing further tension.
“I don’t know how he gets his information, but the truth is that he acted with wisdom at the right time,” the governor stated, emphasizing that the President’s actions helped stabilize the volatile situation.
Fubara called on the people of Rivers State and Nigerians at large to appreciate President Tinubu for his role in de-escalating the crisis. He confirmed that a peace process is now underway in the state and encouraged all stakeholders to support ongoing reconciliation efforts.
Highlighting the need for humility and unity, Fubara urged political actors to put the state’s interests above personal or political differences. He assured that both the executive and legislative branches of government would soon be fully operational again.
The governor also revealed that meetings aimed at reconciliation are still in progress and expressed hope for a return to political stability, unity, and effective governance in Rivers State.
