Kashim Shettima Pays Condolence Visit to Ajimobi Family Over Daughter’s Death
Vice President Kashim Ibrahim Shettima has shared his thoughts following a condolence visit to the family of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, after the death of their eldest daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi.
Shettima, a senior figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Borno State governor, visited the Ajimobi family in Lagos on Wednesday to offer support and prayers during their time of grief. Abisola Kola-Daisi passed away recently in the United Kingdom at the age of 42.
Writing on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, the Vice President said:
“Earlier on, I paid a condolence visit to the family of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, on the death of their eldest daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi.”
He continued:
“Mrs. Kola-Daisi died recently at the age of 42 in the United Kingdom.”
Shettima noted that during the visit, prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of Abisola’s soul, and he personally delivered President Bola Tinubu’s condolences to Dr. Florence Ajimobi, the former First Lady of Oyo State, and the rest of the grieving family.
The Vice President’s post drew significant attention on social media, with many followers expressing their sympathy and support for the Ajimobi family during this difficult time.
