Former Kano SSG, Bichi, Accuses NNPP and Kwankwasiyya of Betrayal

Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, a former Secretary to the Government of Kano State, has expressed disappointment over what he perceives as betrayal by members of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its Kwankwasiyya faction, despite his prior support for the group.
Addressing a gathering of young supporters who welcomed him back from the Umrah pilgrimage, Dr. Bichi expressed gratitude for completing his journey safely but lamented the lack of trustworthiness among some individuals he had worked with.
“Alhamdulillah, I have completed my work safely. However, we found ourselves surrounded by people who cannot be trusted,” he said. “Despite our contributions, we were betrayed. I ask for your forgiveness and urge patience as the time will come when we will speak out and reveal everything.”
Dr. Bichi indicated that he possesses substantial evidence, including written statements, audio, and video recordings, to support his claims. He promised to disclose these details at an appropriate time.
“Now is not the time to speak, but when the time comes, the youth will hear everything,” he assured his audience. “Thank you for your continued support, and once again, I ask for your forgiveness.”
He also vowed to expose the betrayal he experienced, emphasizing the importance of learning from his ordeal to prevent others from falling victim to similar deceit. Dr. Bichi described the actions of those involved as dishonest and pledged to reveal the full truth when the time is right.
