Christians must NEVER allow future elections to be about religion – Reno Omokri laments

A well-known supporter of the presidential candidate of PDP, Reno Omokri has reacted to the pattern of voting in the 2023 presidential election. The media influencer aired his view in a post he made on his official Twitter handle. According to Reno, the 2023 presidential election was largely based on religion. .

He claimed that the votes from Muslims in Nigeria were widely divided between 3 presidential candidates, Atiku, Tinubu, and Kwankwaso. He lamented that the Christian votes went to only one candidate, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Hear him, “The Islamic vote was divided 3 ways amongst Atiku, Tinubu, and Kwankwaso. The Christian vote was united behind Obi, yet, look at the results. No matter the provocations, Christians must never allow future elections to be about religion. It won’t serve us well.”
