Wife Shares Shocking Account of Husband’s Death and Hospital Treatment Refusal

Iyanuoluwa Adedeji, a woman from Ogun State, has shared her side of the story after being detained over her husband’s death. In an interview with Punch, she revealed disturbing details about the night her husband attacked her and the treatment she received at the hospital.

Adedeji explained that during an altercation, her husband held a knife in one hand while strangling her with the other. In the struggle, he accidentally cut himself on the chest with the knife. As he began to lose blood rapidly and weakened, she rushed him to a hospital for treatment.

However, Adedeji was only wearing her underwear when she arrived at the hospital, and the medical staff initially began attending to her husband. But upon learning that he was a cultist, they abruptly stopped and instructed her to take him to a different hospital—the Federal Medical Center.

“When we arrived at the hospital, I only had my pant on. They attended to him at first but stopped when they learnt he was a cultist,” Adedeji said.

At the second hospital, the doctor confirmed that her husband had passed away.
