In a recent video on Facebook, Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has delivered a powerful message on the authority believers have through the name of Jesus Christ. Speaking during a recent sermon, the revered preacher emphasized the supremacy of Jesus’ name in overcoming spiritual battles and living a victorious Christian life.

“Any powers of the enemy fighting against our desire to please God, by the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow,” Bishop Oyedepo proclaimed, referencing Philippians 2:10. He encouraged Christians to confront any attack of the devil with confidence, using the authority bestowed by Christ.

He explained that declaring the name of Jesus activates the anointing on Christ, which nullifies any form of spiritual opposition. “When you say that, you are releasing the anointing on Christ against that uprising. And no devil can stand out,” Bishop Oyedepo affirmed.

According to him, “Any powers of the enemy fighting against our desire to please God, by the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. So when the devil launch an attack, you should say in the name of Jesus I have victory. In the name of Jesus get out of my way. Get out of my life. When you say that you are releasing the anointing on Christ against that uprising. And no devil can stand out.”
