Unilorin Graduates Kidnapped En Route to NYSC Camp, N5m Ransom Demanded Per Victim
Graduates of the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) traveling to Rivers State for their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation have reportedly been kidnapped in Delta State.
The incident, which occurred on January 21, was brought to light by users on X (formerly Twitter) who claim to know some of the hostages.
According to one user, the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N5 million per person. Another user shared that their neighbor’s sister was among those abducted, confirming the same ransom demand.
Efforts to gather more details are ongoing, as the incident has sparked concern and calls for action on social media.
