Tragic Flooding in Valencia Claims 62 Lives, Many Still Missing (Photos)

Catastrophic flash floods have devastated eastern Spain, particularly affecting Valencia and nearby areas. At least 62 people have lost their lives, and many families are in mourning, as numerous individuals are still unaccounted for.
Homes have been inundated, and many residents find themselves trapped, awaiting rescue.The Prime Minister of Spain has urged the public to remain extremely cautious. Emergency services and military personnel are actively working in the most affected regions to rescue those in danger and assist residents who are stranded.
The flooding has also severely impacted infrastructure. High-speed train services have been suspended, schools in the region are closed, and various public events, including football matches, have been canceled to ensure safety. Meteorologists warn that the threat is not over, as heavy rainfall continues to pose risks of further flooding. Local officials are advising residents to stay indoors and limit travel.
