“Don’t End Your Service Living in Fear Over Past Actions,” Says Siminalayi Fubara
Governor Siminalayi Fubara offered guidance to Mustapha Bala, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, during Bala’s courtesy visit.In a live broadcast by Symfoni TV, Fubara reminded Bala of the importance of professionalism, pointing out that, after his career in law enforcement, he will eventually return to civilian life.
Fubara advised Bala to avoid actions he might later regret.The governor urged the commissioner to conduct his duties with integrity, assuring him that by doing so, he would face no issues in Rivers State. Fubara stated, “Don’t finish your service only to live in fear because of past actions.
Once retired, you’ll be a regular citizen without a gun. So, act professionally, and I assure you that you won’t have any problems in our state.”
