Mercy Aigbe Speaks on Her Conversion to Islam, Says She’s Enjoying Her New Faith

Popular Yoruba movie actress Mercy Aigbe has opened up about her journey since converting from Christianity to Islam, revealing that she has embraced her new faith wholeheartedly.

Speaking in a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Emiralty Africa TV during a public Ramadan gathering with her husband, she reflected on her experience, stating that it has been three years since she embraced Islam, and she has been enjoying every moment of it.

In her words:
“It is always good to give praise to those who deserve it, and that is why I want to give thanks to my husband because he always supports me, and I feel so blessed to have him by my side. It’s been up to 3 years since I converted from Christianity to Islam, and I’m enjoying it. My husband sent me to Mecca, I did all my rights there as a Muslim, and I’m now an Alhaja. I pray that you continue to bless my husband for bringing me to Islam.”

Aigbe also expressed gratitude to her husband for guiding and supporting her in practicing Islam, noting that he played a significant role in her pilgrimage to Mecca.
