“Edochie Family Has Turned Against May” – Actress Esther Nwachukwu Alleges

Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, also known as Esther Sky, has sparked controversy after urging May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, to drop his surname amid ongoing family tensions.

Her remarks follow a recent scandal involving Yinka, the wife of Yul’s brother Linc Edochie, who allegedly leaked May’s phone number online—a move that intensified the already public rift within the Edochie family.

In a video now circulating online, Esther advised May to legally sever ties with the Edochie name.

“With all due respect, drop Yul Edochie’s name so that there would be peace. Even if your documents are associated with May Yul Edochie, go to court. There’s nothing special about the name,” she said.

Esther further alleged that Yul’s entire family is conspiring against May.

“The family has planned against her. All Yul Edochie’s siblings and brothers have been bought, because if they’re not discussing something about Queen May behind closed doors, the new wife wouldn’t come online and drag Queen May for no reason,” she claimed.
