A businessman laments that Davido has absconded with his N218 million.

A businessman, known as Abusalami on Instagram, has accused renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, of breaching a financial agreement he had with him in connection with a children’s project.

Abusalami claimed he paid Davido 218 million naira out of a total project cost of 326 million naira. But he alleged that the singer failed to fulfill his part of the deal.

According to Abusalami’s lengthy statement posted on his Instagram page, the project which involved young talents in 20 different states was scheduled but was canceled by Davido, resulting in a financial loss of 42 million naira to him.

Abusalami also claimed that he requested Davido to do a commercial about the project, which the singer refused to do.

In his statement, Abusalami accuses Davido of taking the money without delivering the project, labeling the singer a “thief.” He also highlighted his own financial difficulties and the potential negative impact on the young players who were supposed to benefit from the project.
