Olaonipekun Olatubosun, professionally known as TROD (The Return Of Da Grin), is a Nigerian indigenous rapper, singer, and songwriter born on 5 February in Lagos State, Nigeria, and originally from Ogun State. He is the younger brother of the late indigenous rap icon **Da Grin**. TROD entered the music scene with the freestyle-driven single “Game Yii” and gained further recognition with the hip-hop–infused track “Wild Mind”. He released his EP *Livin Grin* in 2020 and more recently, his debut studio album *GrinFace* in 2022. His sound fuses evocative melodies and experimental production, earning him recognition as a leading voice in contemporary indigenous rap.
