B-Red
Adebayo Adeleke, professionally known as B-Red, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was born on July 23, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He is the son of Nigerian politician Ademola Adeleke and a cousin of Afrobeats superstar Davido.
B-Red relocated to Nigeria to pursue a career in music and became one of the early artists signed to HKN Music. He launched his solo career in 2013 with the release of Insane Girl, featuring Davido and produced by Shizzi. He followed the success of the single with other notable releases including Uju, Cucumber featuring Akon, E Better featuring Don Jazzy, and Achie featuring Davido.
In 2016, B-Red released his debut EP, All the Way Up, before unveiling his first studio album, The Jordan, in 2020 under Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). The album featured appearances from 2Baba, Davido, Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Dremo, Slimcase, Sina Rambo, and others. He later released his second studio album, Good Music for Bad Days, in 2022. In addition to his work with HKN Music and DMW, B-Red operates under his own imprint, Red Nation Records.
Renowned for his Afropop sound and melodic style, B-Red has remained an active figure in the Nigerian music industry through collaborations with some of Africa’s leading artists.
