Chelsea is open to re-signing a former player under one condition, as the player expresses interest in returning to the Premier League and has been offered to Maresca’s team

Chelsea has been given the chance to re-sign Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan during the winter transfer window. Tomori, who came through Chelsea’s academy, was sold to Milan in 2021 after several loan spells, but he’s been frustrated with his limited playing time at the San Siro, having only played 13 minutes in the last 10 league matches.
Following Milan’s managerial change, with Sergio Conceição replacing Paulo Fonseca, Tomori, along with other players, is uncertain about his future at the club. The 27-year-old is keen on a Premier League return in January and has been offered to multiple clubs, including Chelsea, although he isn’t a top priority for them.
Chelsea would only consider bringing Tomori back if Axel Disasi leaves in January. Juventus is also interested in the defender, with a transfer fee of around €25-30 million being discussed. However, Chelsea’s chances of signing him are slim, as the club is focused on cutting short Aaron Anselmino’s loan deal from Boca Juniors.
