El-Rufai’s SonCalls for Objective Investigation into Father’s Government
Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and a current House of Representatives member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, has addressed the growing tension between his father and Governor Uba Sani.
In an interview with BBC Hausa’s Mahangar Zamani, Bello acknowledged the ongoing rift between the two political figures, expressing his concern over the situation. He compared their fallout to life’s unpredictable nature, likening it to friendships that end and marriages that break.
“It is unsettling. I wouldn’t love to see my enemies fighting, let alone friends,” he stated, emphasizing his preference for peace.
However, Bello noted that neither his father nor Governor Sani had personally informed him about their differences. He mentioned that he only became aware of the situation through public discourse.
