“What I Kept Hearing in My Spirit While Preparing for the Crossover Service” – Bishop David Oyedepo
Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, shared a message during the church’s 2024 Crossover Service, revealing the inspiration he received while preparing for the event.
“What I kept hearing in my spirit, while preparing for this Crossover Service” Oyedepo stated, “New day, new beginnings, new chapters, a new era.”
Reflecting on the significance of this transition, he quoted Isaiah 43:18-19: “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
He emphasized that believers are stepping into a season of unprecedented blessings—things “eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor entered into the heart of any man.”
Citing 1 Corinthians 2:9, Oyedepo assured believers that God’s plans for them are beyond human imagination: “Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” He encouraged believers to embrace their new season with faith and anticipation.
In his sermon, Oyedepo emphasized that the key to unlocking the great move of the Spirit in this new era is genuine love for God. “Genuine love for God is the only way to secure our place in this great move of the Spirit,” he declared.
As he concluded, the Bishop prophesied that those who genuinely love God will rise as “high flyers” in this new season, and encouraged all believers to position themselves for divine breakthroughs and blessings.
