Election Tribunal: If Nigerians Say They Don’t Want You, You Can’t Force Yourself On Them – Ajomale
Presidential candidates who lost the recent election have been urged to accept defeat and respect the will of Nigerians by Chief Henry Ajomale, a former commissioner for special duties and the party’s most recent chairman in Lagos state.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory is being contested by Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Recall that the presidential election appeal tribunal, located in Abuja, is now hearing arguments on the results of the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking in an exclusive interview for today’s Sunday Sun newspaper, Ajomale, alluding to Mr Peter Obi, said that if Nigerians declare they don’t want him, he cannot force himself upon them.
Hear him. “You can’t push yourself on Nigerians if they express a desire for you not to be there. Why didn’t you rig the game to win if the new technology (BVAS) makes it simple to do so? In Lagos, Peter Obi triumphed. Ajomale was quoted by the Sunday Sun Newspaper as saying that in the Southeast, he received a 97% approval rating, including the APC.
