Ekiti Governor, Biodun Oyebanji Welcomes Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Olufemi Oluyede
Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has expressed his delight after receiving the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Olufemi Oluyede, who paid him a courtesy visit in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.
Taking to his verified Twitter page, Governor Oyebanji shared his excitement over the visit, emphasizing General Oluyede’s Ekiti roots and his contributions to national security.
“I had the honour of receiving the Chief of Army Staff, Lt-General Olufemi Oluyede, in Ado-Ekiti during a courtesy visit,” he stated.
He further highlighted the significance of General Oluyede’s appointment, describing it as a proud moment for the people of Ekiti.
“As an Ekiti son from Ikere-Ekiti, General Oluyede’s appointment last year by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was a proud moment for us all, and I am delighted to welcome him home.”
