EFCC Detains Seven Individuals for Fraud in Abuja (Photo)

At least seven individuals suspected of fraud have been apprehended by the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).The Commission announced this development on Wednesday.
The suspects were taken into custody on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).According to the anti-graft agency, their arrests were based on reliable intelligence regarding their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.
Authorities recovered 13 mobile phones of various brands and one vehicle from the suspects.The Commission stated that the suspects will be charged in court once the investigations are complete.
