Prince Aboki Refutes Claims of Rejection in Kannywood, Nollywood
Filmmaker Prince Daniel Aboki has denied reports that he was rejected in Kannywood due to his religion and in Nollywood because of his northern background.
Addressing the claims, Aboki clarified that his comments at a Nollywood in Hollywood event were misinterpreted. He emphasized that Kannywood has been a strong pillar of support in his filmmaking journey.
“Kannywood has never rejected me on the basis of ethnicity or religion. In fact, it has been my greatest pillar of support,” he stated.
Aboki reaffirmed his commitment to elevating Kannywood, collaborating with industry veterans, and promoting northern stories on a global stage.
