Folarin Odunlami, professionally known as Fola, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter born on 26 April 1999 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He began writing songs at age 15 and formally debuted in 2022 with the single “Ginger Me” featuring Bella Shmurda, which led to his signing with Dangbana Republik. He further gained widespread attention with the hit “Alone” featuring BhadBoi OML. In December 2024, he released his debut extended play, What a Feeling, which quickly reached No. 5 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums chart. He followed this with several high-profile collaborations—including “Get Better” (with Zlatan), “Dangbana Riddim” (with Bella Shmurda), and “Lost” (with Kizz Daniel)—and was named one of Apple Music’s Africa Rising artists to watch in 2025.
