Mikel Arteta Gives Update on the Injury Crisis at Arsenal
The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta has given an update on the injury crisis hitting the Gunners.
The Spaniard was speaking at a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s premier league game against Brentford on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 which was published on the club’s website. According to Arteta, there would be no update concerning the players that are fit or not fit until the day of the game.
One or two players can be considered for training and selection. Whoever will have to be ruled out, that is going to be tomorrow. We have those 24 hours to see.
The 40-year-old confirmed that Ben White is not with any injury while the injury to Emile Smith-Rowe is currently being accessed by the medical team of the club.
It’s been an ongoing issue that Emile’s had. It’s something we are trying to assess and trying to help as much as possible because we need him fit, we need him available and we need him performing at the best level because he’s such an important player for us.
Arsenal left-back defender, Alexander Zinchenko might be out of the game against the Bees following a hamstring injury.
